PLUM-P was not built quickly.

It was built carefully, over ten years of research, lived experience, and a deep conviction that the skin, given the right conditions, already knows how to heal.

We are Simon and Rachelle, a couple who came to this work the way most people come to their most important work: through necessity, through loss, and through the quiet accumulation of knowledge that changes how you see everything.

We didn't come to skincare from a laboratory. We came from life.

Between us, we carry more than 50 years of experience across holistic health, natural beauty therapy, nutrition, complementary healing, sustainable agriculture, and native plant intelligence. We have manufactured kombucha commercially. We have grown and harvested native food plants. We have studied fermentation, not as a trend, but as a practice with a 10,000-year history.

We have also navigated loss and illness, and in doing so, learned what most people only discover reluctantly: that what we consume, in every sense of that word, matters deeply.

These are not credentials you find on a CV. They are the reason PLUM-P exists, and the reason we will never compromise what goes into it.

The plum doesn't come from a supplier. It comes from a family.

Our Davidson Plum is sourced from a five-generation family property. We visit from harvest to harvest. We handpick every plum ourselves. We know the trees, the land, and the man who has tended both for longer than we have been making this product.

That relationship is not a supply chain detail. It is the foundation of everything we make. The provenance is not something we market. It is something we live.

Twelve to eighteen months. Every batch.

Our slow-fermentation process takes 12 to 18 months from harvest to finished product. We do not rush it. The fermentation does what it does in its own time, breaking the Davidson Plum down into bioavailable molecules that the skin can actually absorb and use.

This is why PLUM-P works differently. Not because of marketing language or clever packaging, but because of what the process does that faster methods cannot replicate.

We made this for ourselves first.

When your skin is sensitive and reactive, the beauty industry offers very little that actually helps. Most products either do nothing or make things worse. We understood the science well enough to know why, and we had the background to do something about it.

So we did.

What began as something we made for our own skin became something we started giving to people around us, then to clients, then to strangers who asked what we were using. PLUM-P grew the way most honest things grow. One person at a time. Word of mouth. Results that speak for themselves.
